The Hermit is the first full-length album by Vincent Steiner after his debuting single “Mirage” and EP “Aton”. The driving concept of The Hermit involved Vincenzo’s own seclusion and solitude in nature. Vincenzo lived and wrote this album tracks on the mountain which overlooks the village of his birthplace and his childhood. Vincenzo leaves his electro and Detroit techno influences for a more personal style. This involves mixing beats accompanied by Asian instruments and using breaks and samples from various obscure records, which results in an unique psychedelic and ethereal atmosphere.
